The ceramic-ceramic pair has proven to have lesser erosion rates than those of any other combination, offering a solution to one of the main factors of prosthesic failure.
Allows for the use of a total hip arthroplasty in young patients, with greater physical activity and better life expectancy.
On the other hand, the lower edge of the insert has polyethylene reinforcement in order to protect the ceramic against a possible contact of the femoral stem, without limiting the range of motion of the prosthesis.
