Its proximal coating POROFITT, provides a good anchorage of the metaphysis which guarantees the physiological distribution of the loads.
The second coating of hidroxyapatite accelerates osteointegration and consequently the fixation of the bone to the porous surface of the stem. The absortion of hidroxyapatite by the organism will not be cause of loosening. This double coating system, patented by LAFITT has demostrated to be the most effective way of fixation for non-cemented prosthetic components.
